Al and Lisa Burns are the proud owners of Sprouts Learning Academy, a faith-based preschool and childcare center serving families in Seguin, Texas. As parents of seven children, they understand the importance of providing a safe, loving environment where every child feels valued, encouraged, and inspired to learn.
With backgrounds in business, education, healthcare, and community service, Al and Lisa share a lifelong passion for helping children thrive. After moving to Seguin to open Alligator Dental, they quickly fell in love with the community and made it their home.
When the opportunity arose to continue providing quality Christian childcare in Seguin, they opened Sprouts Learning Academy with a vision of creating a place where children receive exceptional care, build strong academic foundations, and grow in faith and character.
Today, Al and Lisa remain committed to providing the highest standards of childcare and early education while partnering with families to help every child learn, grow, and flourish.
When First Baptist Christian Academy closed in 2012, Al and Lisa Burns saw an opportunity to continue its legacy of exceptional childcare and early education. Together with many of the dedicated teachers who had served families there, they founded Sprouts Learning Academy to provide a nurturing, faith-based environment where children could continue to learn, grow, and thrive. Today, Sprouts proudly combines experienced educators with a balanced approach to early childhood education, creating one of Seguin's premier preschool and childcare centers.
